Twenty-three years after I bought my Bullet there, I returned to Chennai, INDIA to take part in the celebrations during the launch of the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350. 
There were factory visits, presentations, a pop-up museum and demonstrations of the painting of famous gold stripes on the fuel tank. Gordon May, Royal Enfield's brand historian, informed and entertained us with the history of the overwhelmingly popular Bullet from its inception in 1932 to the present day. We saw new Bullets rolling off the production line and I was very fortunate indeed to be able to ride one. Actually, I had a five-day test ride all over Tamil Nadu!

I'm really happy to have an article in Issue 4 of Traverse magazine, from Australia. Recently, I found a long letter I'd written to my mother when I was leaving Australia and here it is.
