I couldn't help but smile as I read out loud, many of the experiences Peggy Iris Thomas relates in her book (also known as "A Ride in the Sun). She writes of her 1951 motorcycle trip in Canada, the US and Mexico as if it was quite the normal thing for a 26 year-old woman to do.
